- Rip Current in New Hampshire, August 19, 2018Two people died and 6 others had to be rescued when a strong rip current developed along the beach in Seabrook. A 49-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
- Rip Current in New Hampshire, August 24, 2025Large surf impacted the New Hampshire Seacoast for days with long period swells from the passage of Hurricane Erin well offshore. The large waves caused dangerous rip currents through the weekend with numerous rescues being reported from Rye Beach to Hampton Beach.
