- Flash Flood and Flood in New Hampshire, October 8 to 9, 2005A slow-moving cold front interacted with the remnants of Tammy, producing significant rainfall and flooding across southern New Hampshire.
- Flooding in New Hampshire, October 8 to 10, 2005The interaction between a cold frontal boundary and the remnants of Tropical Storm Tammy resulted in tremendous amount of rainfall throughout most of central and southern New Hampshire.
- High Wind in New Hampshire, November 29, 2003High winds brought down trees and power lines in Hillsborough County. A couple was killed in their vehicle when a 4-foot diameter tree blew down and crashed onto their van. About half an hour later, two people were injured when another tree blew down on their car.
- Avalanche in New Hampshire, March 24, 1996Two men hiking near Mt. Washington were buried by an avalanche and suffocated.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in New Hampshire, August 3, 2015A pre-frontal trough ahead of an approaching cold front was the focus for severe convection on the afternoon of August 3rd. Moderate CAPES and low-level moisture combined with increasing mid-level flow to produced numerous severe cells most of which produced wind damage.
- Rip Current in New Hampshire, August 19, 2018Two people died and 6 others had to be rescued when a strong rip current developed along the beach in Seabrook. A 49-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
- Tornadoes and Flood in New Hampshire, July 24, 2008On July 24th a closed 500 mb low was digging over NY/PA and waves of surface low pressure were riding north along the associated surface front to the west of the forecast area. A strong 50kt low level jet was also riding northward ahead of the front.
- Debris Flow and Flooding in New Hampshire, October 29 to 30, 2012On Monday, October 29th, Hurricane Sandy (and its remnants) tracked northwest from well off the North Carolina coast to southeastern Pennsylvania, making landfall near the southern tip of New Jersey.
- Heavy Snow in New Hampshire, December 7 to 8, 1996A low pressure system centered over Georgia at 7 AM on December 7th moved rapidly northeast across North Carolina.
- Flash Flood in New Hampshire, June 27, 1998From 3 to possibly as much as 6 inches of rain fell in 12 hours causing the Baker River and its tributaries to rise very rapidly. Bridges were destroyed, vehicles were washed away, and some towns were completely isolated as all roads in and out of the towns were flooded.
- Flash Flood in New Hampshire, August 7, 2008An area of slow moving showers and thunderstorms produced up to 6 inches of rain in 3 hours resulting in flash flooding on Ames Brook in Ashland which rose rapidly and flooded the Ames Brook Campground.
- Flood and Strong Wind in New Hampshire, March 14, 2010A stacked low pressure system (surface low and upper level low on top of each other) moved southeast of Nantucket, spreading rain across Southern New England. This resulted in widespread rainfall totals of three to six inches.
- Tropical Storm and Astronomical Low Tide in New Hampshire, August 4 to 5, 2020Tropical Storm Isaias was the first tropical storm to impact New Hampshire since 2011. The center of the storm tracked west of the state, keeping the flooding rain associated with the storm across New York.
- Winter Weather in New Hampshire, December 27, 2007A wintry mix of precipitation resulting in slick roads was a contributing factor in a traffic accident resulting in one fatality and three injuries (all indirect) in Cheshire County.
- Strong Wind in New Hampshire, November 30, 2022On November 30th a strong low level jet developed over the state ahead of a strong cold front. As the front approached southerly winds reached the surface with wind gusts up to 50 mph with locally higher gusts.
- Damaging Wind in New Hampshire, August 21, 1994Increasing winds capsized a sailboat during a boat race on Lake Sunnapee, drowning the captain. The winds, estimated at 50 mph, were apparently associated with a thunderstorm gust front. (M59O)
- Avalanche in New Hampshire, January 5, 1996A group of four hikers from Quebec got caught in an avalanche after wandering off a hiking trail on the slopes of Mt. Washington. One hiker was killed while another sustained substantial injuries.
- Cold in New Hampshire, February 27, 1996A winter hiker climbing a peak near Mt. Washington likely became disoriented, then died as a result of hypothermia.
- Flash Flood in New Hampshire, July 13, 1996Three to four inches of rain from the remnants of Hurricane Bertha on small rivers and streams. A 10 year old boy playing in the rain-swollen Newfound River was swept to his death.
- Damaging Winds in New Hampshire, July 6, 1999Severe thunderstorms moved across southern New Hampshire in advance of a strong cold front, resulting in widespread wind damage in Cheshire and Hillsborough Counties. For the fourth day in a row, temperatures peaked well up into the 90s along with high humidity.
- Tornadoes and Damaging Winds in New Hampshire, July 6, 1999Severe thunderstorm winds caused damage statewide as downed trees blocked roads and caused power outages. The winds also damaged several buildings. In Sanbornton, a 60 foot pine tree fell on a car killing the driver.
- Strong Wind in New Hampshire, March 7, 1999A strong wind gust reportedly blew a compact car off the roadway on Route 3-A in the town of Hill. The single car accident resulted in one fatality and one injury. A peak wind gust of 37 mph was reported in Concord near the time of the accident.
- Strong Wind in New Hampshire, January 21, 2000Strong, gusty, northwest winds developed over northern New England as a storm intensified rapidly in the Gulf of Maine. Although the strong winds persisted for an extended period of time, no damages were reported.
- Damaging Wind in New Hampshire, June 17, 2000A 39-year old woman was killed when the strong winds which preceded a thunderstorm caused a 57 ft section of a tree to break off from the base and fall on her at the Windham Town Beach at Cobbetts Pond.
