- Heavy Snow and Lake-Effect Snow in Nevada, January 18 to 20, 2018Low pressure over the northeast Pacific on the 18th moved southeast, reaching northern California on the 19th. This system brought high winds and snowfall to the Sierra Nevada and western Nevada.
- Heavy Snow and Lake-Effect Snow in Nevada, January 24 to 26, 2021A winter storm brought moderate to heavy snowfall accumulations to western Nevada, which created delays and travel issues for the early week commute the 24th into the 26th.
- Lake-Effect Snow in Nevada, November 9 to 10, 2012A cold trough dropped along the Pacific Northwest coast on the 8th and into northern California and the interior Northwest on the 9th. The trough brought a narrow band of heavy lake effect snow to portions of western Nevada to the east of Lake Tahoe on the 9th and 10th.
