- Ice Storm and Heavy Snow in Nevada, December 21 to 22, 2006A Pacific storm moved through the central Sierra and western Nevada. This moist system dropped over a foot of snow in the Sierra and freezing rain in parts of western Nevada.
- Ice Storm and Heavy Snow in Nevada, January 4 to 5, 2007A winter storm brought up to a foot and a half of snow to the Sierra with only a few inches of snow to western Nevada.
- Ice Storm in Nevada, January 25, 2005Due to a strong inversion across the eastern Sierra and western Nevada, freezing rain fell on the morning of January 25th. Automobile accidents were reported along U.S.Hwy. 50 in Lyon County, Nevada.
