- Dust Storm in Montana, September 9, 2000Wind gusts between 40 to 50 mph blew over a newly plowed farm field, which reduced visibility to near zero from dust on highway 200 near Greenough. A multiple car accident occurred in the dust storm with eight people injured.
- Dust Storm and High Wind in Montana, December 19 to 20, 2020A series of three weather systems moved through Montana between December 18 and 21, 2020, bringing strong winds with the first two systems on the 18-19th. Winds increased to 20-35 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH during the overnight hours on the 18-19.
- Dust Storm and Damaging Winds in Montana, May 13 to 14, 2026On May 13th, scattered thunderstorms with strong and damaging winds impacted northeast Montana late in the day. After which, a re-enforcing cold front brought additional widespread damaging winds.
