- Tornadoes and Hail in Missouri, May 22 to 23, 2011A strong upper level trough across the central plains region and a strong upper level disturbance along with a frontal boundary in the area produced numerous severe storms with a few supercells across southeast Kansas.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Missouri, May 10, 2008Three tornadoes were spawned from supercell thunderstorms that developed over southeast Kansas. These storms quickly moved into southwest Missouri causing devestating damage to homes, businesses, and trees in Newton, Barry, and Jasper counties.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Missouri, March 14 to 15, 2025A major outbreak of severe storms including tornadoes, damaging winds, and very large hail occurred across southeast Missouri in the late evening of the 14th and into the very early morning hours on the 15th.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Missouri, May 16, 2025During the afternoon of May 16th, numerous supercells developed ahead of a cold front and within a favorable environment for high-end severe weather. These produced widespread severe weather including 2 to 2.5 inch hail, wind damage, and two tornadoes.

- Tornado in Missouri, May 4, 2003This tornado is a continuation of the Newton County tornado. A large tornado laid out a half mile wide path of destruction across southwest, central, and east central Lawrence County.

- Tornado in Missouri, May 4, 2003A long lived cyclic supercell that had a history of producing large and destructive tornadoes spawned another large tornado in rural south central Camden County.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Missouri, January 7 to 8, 2008An unusual mid winter tornado outbreak occurred over southwest and central Missouri. 31 tornadoes struck the region within a 15 hour time frame on 7 January into early morning 8 January. Two tornadoes intensified to EF-3 status while five tornadoes caused EF-2 damage.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Missouri, December 30 to 31, 2010Between the evening of the 30th and the morning of the 31st, two separate lines of thunderstorms produced significant severe weather across southwest Missouri including damaging wind, large hail, and deadly tornadoes.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Missouri, February 28 to 29, 2012A strong system moved across the Midwest and brought a round of severe storms to the Ozarks late on the 28th and early on the 29th of February.
- Tornado in Missouri, May 4, 2003A large tornado laid out a path of destruction across the entire county. During this time, it took a path through the center of Stockton, which is the most populated community in the county. 350 homes, businesses, and outbuildings were destroyed while 650 received major damage.
