- Ice Storm and Hail in Missouri, February 5 to 7, 2019A prolonged freezing drizzle and freezing rain event impacted all of eastern Kansas and western and central Missouri from February 5 until February 7.
- Ice Storm and Winter Weather in Missouri, January 13 to 16, 2017Freezing rain started on Friday January 13 across portions of southern Kansas and southern Missouri. Freezing rain fell across a fairly narrow corridor on Friday night into Saturday morning across that area, causing icing to occur.

A southwest to northeast narrow band of convection developed from northeast Oklahoma into central Missouri, which became the heaviest axis of ice accumulation.
- Ice Storm in Missouri, January 26 to 28, 2009The combination of abundant moisture, a low pressure system moving through the region, and cold air at the surface caused an ice storm to occur over the Missouri Bootheel. Most of the precipitation fell in the form of freezing rain.
