- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, February 8 to 10, 2013An historic winter storm deposited tremendous amounts of snow over all of southern New England, mainly from the mid-afternoon on Friday, February 8 and lasting into the daylight hours of Saturday, February 9.
- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, January 26 to 28, 2015An historic winter storm brought heavy snow to southern New England with blizzard conditions to much of Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts, beginning during the day on Monday, January 26 and lasting into the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 27.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Massachusetts, February 5, 2016Low pressure traveling along a cold front stalled south of southern New England brought heavy rain, which changed over to heavy snow as temperatures dropped. This snow was extraordinarily wet and heavy, bringing down trees and wires across portions of southern New England.

Up to a foot and a half of snow fell on much of eastern Massachusetts. This came just one week after a blizzard (January 27) brought over two feet of snow to the same area.

- Coastal Flood and Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, March 7 to 9, 2013This storm brought heavy snow and significant coastal flooding to the forecast area. This was an unusual synoptic set-up, with low pressure lingering off the coast of southern New England for several days.
- Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, March 9 to 10, 2001A winter storm tracking from the Great Lakes to just south of New England brought heavy snow to much of interior Massachusetts. The highest snowfall totals were found in the higher elevations of central and northeast Massachusetts, where around one foot of snow fell.
- Coastal Flood and Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, February 25 to 27, 2010Low pressure centered over Martha's Vineyard brought strong northeast winds onshore into northeastern Massachusetts. Sustained wind speeds ranged from about 30 mph on the Cape (nearest to the center of the storm) to 45 mph along the northeast coast of Massachusetts.

Six to twelve inches of heavy snow fell across much of Massachusetts, downing trees and power lines, some of which fell on cars, homes, and across commuter train/subway tracks.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, January 11 to 13, 2011A developing nor'easter coastal storm dumped up to two feet of snow across Massachusetts in a 24 hour period.
- Winter Storm and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, February 1 to 2, 2021A mid level trough over the Appalachians produced a secondary surface low pressure near the mid-Atlantic coast. High pressure over Hudson Bay allowed low level cold air to stay in place initially.
- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, January 23 to 24, 2016Low pressure intensified as it moved off the coast of North Carolina and tracked northeastward, passing south of southern New England. This brought accumulating snow to areas south of Interstate 90 in Massachusetts, including Connecticut and Rhode Island.
- Heavy Snow and High Wind in Massachusetts, November 26 to 27, 2014A strong coastal storm moved up the east coast and over Nantucket bringing a heavy wet snow to much of the area. This resulted in tree damage and scattered power outages across the region.
- Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, March 26 to 27, 2001A small but fast moving storm brought heavy snow to southeast Massachusetts, as it moved off the coast south of Long Island. Snowfall totals of 5 to 10 inches were widely reported from the southern suburbs of Boston to Cape Cod. As much as 10.6 inches of snow fell in Fairhaven.

- Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, March 13 to 15, 2023Strong low pressure meandered just off the southeast coast of New England from late on the 13th to early on the 15th, before moving eastward and farther offshore. In its wake, it produced 2 to 3+ feet in northern and western MA.
- Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, February 23 to 24, 2010Low pressure moving along the eastern Massachusetts coast brought snow to much of interior Southern New England, with rain falling along the coast.
