- Heat in Massachusetts, July 5, 1999Bermuda high pressure brought a southwest flow of hot and humid air to Massachusetts during the holiday weekend. The temperature only fell to a low of 81 degrees at Logan International Airport in Boston on July 5th, which was a record minimum high temperature for the date.
- Heat in Massachusetts, July 5 to 6, 2013A strong upper level ridge over southern New England resulted in a long period of very hot and humid weather across the region. July 3rd through July 7th all had high temperatures above 90 degrees, constituting an official heat wave for the city of Boston.
- Heat and High Wind in Massachusetts, December 24 to 25, 1996Strong south to southwest winds ahead of an approaching cold front reached sustained speeds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 40 to 50 mph. The strong winds began around mid-morning and continued throughout the day and evening.
- Excessive Heat and Heat in Massachusetts, July 6 to 7, 2010A strong ridge built into Southern New England resulting in temperatures nearing 100 with high humidity. Heat index values ranged from 100 to 106 for most of Southern New England on the 6th and again on the 7th in a more limited area, generally the Connecticut River Valley.
- Flash Flood and Heat in Massachusetts, January 24 to 25, 1999South winds gusted to as high as 55 mph in advance of a strong cold front. The strongest winds occurred across eastern Massachusetts, and were accompanied by heavy rain showers and mild temperatures.A peak wind gust to 63 mph was recorded at the Blue Hill Observatory in Milton.
- Heat and Damaging Winds in Massachusetts, February 22, 1997Unseasonably warm temperatures reached near record levels for February. A high reading of 72 degrees was recorded in downtown Springfield at 12:24 PM.
- Heat in Massachusetts, August 28 to 29, 2018Hazy, hot and humid conditions enveloped the region from Tuesday, August 28th through Wednesday, August 29th. This prompted a heat advisory to be issued both days for all locations below 1000 feet. Maximum heat index values ranged from the low 90's to the low 100's.
- Heat in Massachusetts, August 4 to 8, 2022A dome of high pressure brought a stretch of hot and humid weather resulting in heat indices reaching between 95F and 104F degrees across western Massachusetts on both August 4 and August 8, 2022.

- Heat in Massachusetts, March 31, 1998On March 31st, the temperature at Logan International Airport in Boston soared to an all-time record for the month of March when a high temperature of 89 degrees was recorded. The previous high reading was 86 degrees on March 29, 1945.
- Heat in Massachusetts, March 28, 1998Record warmth for the month of March occurred across most of the state. On March 27th, the temperature at Logan International Airport in Boston soared to 79 degrees, breaking the record for the date. The old record was 76 degrees in 1945.
- Heat in Massachusetts, December 7, 1998Unseasonably warm temperatures occurred throughout much of the state. High pressure over the western Atlantic generated an unusually warm westerly wind flow. A new record high temperature for the month of December of 72 degrees was established for Worcester at Worcester Airport.
- Heat in Massachusetts, February 12, 1999The high temperature of 53 degrees in Worcester broke the previous record high of 52 degrees, which was set in 1984. At the Blue Hill Observatory in Milton, the high temperature of 56 degrees broke the previous record high of 55 degrees, which was also set in 1984.
- Heat in Massachusetts, September 7 to 9, 1999Record warm minimum temperatures were set at the Blue Hill Observatory in Milton, and in Boston and Worcester.
- Heat and Damaging Wind in Massachusetts, July 19 to 21, 2019A heat wave gripped western Massachusetts from July 19th through the 21st. Temperatures soared to the low 90s with dewpoints in the low to mid-70s. This resulted in heat index values in the 95 to 105 range in the warmest valleys.

- Heat in Massachusetts, September 27, 1998The mercury soared to 86 degrees at Logan International Airport in Boston equalling the record for the date set in 1933. At the Blue Hill Observatory in Milton, the thermometer rose to 84 degrees breaking the record high for the date of 82 degrees set in 1908.
- Heat in Massachusetts, March 18, 1999Record high temperatures were reported in eastern Massachusetts. At Logan International Airport in Boston, the high temperature of 70 degrees at 110 pm broke the previous record high of 68 degrees, which was set in 1934.
- Heat in Massachusetts, July 17, 1999The high temperature at Logan International Airport in Boston of 98 degrees tied the record high for the date which was set in 1977. At the Blue Hill Observatory in Milton, the high temperature of 95 degrees tied the record high for the date, which was set in 1997.
- Heat in Massachusetts, June 7, 1999High pressure near Bermuda brought a southwest flow of hot and humid air to Massachusetts. At Logan International Airport in Boston, the high temperature of 97 degrees broke the previous record high of 92 degrees, which was set in 1925.
- Heat in Massachusetts, July 21, 2011Bermuda high pressure dominated the region with broad southwest flow aloft. This flow ushered in hot and humid air. Temperatures across the Berkshires warmed into 90s Thursday afternoon, July 21st.

The flow around this high pressure ridge brought a very warm and humid air mass into western Massachusetts, along with plenty of sunshine. The result was high temperatures exceeding 90 degrees.

- Heat in Massachusetts, July 27, 2020Another hot and humid airmass impacted western Massachusetts on the 27th, with heat indices reaching 95 degrees in some portions of Berkshire County.
- Heat in Massachusetts, July 19 to 20, 2020Temperatures soared into the 90s throughout the lower elevations of western Massachusetts on July 19th, reaching as high as the mid-90s. The combination of the heat and a humid airmass brought heat indices into the 95 to 105 degree range.
