- Excessive Heat in Idaho, September 6 to 7, 2022An anomalously high upper level ridge stayed over the region for several days in early September. This led to 2 consecutive days of record high temperatures in the region, with many stations recording triple digit temperatures.
- Excessive Heat and Heat in Idaho, July 18 to 24, 2024The second heatwave that occurred was the hottest of the two heatwaves that occurred in July of 2024.
- Excessive Heat in Idaho, June 26 to 30, 2021A strong dome of hot high pressure over the Inland Northwest pushed afternoon high temperatures into record territory. In late June 2021, a long-lived heatwave broke many daily, monthly, and all time maximum high and low temperature records at several stations.
- Excessive Heat in Idaho, September 1 to 30, 2022Four ASOS sites recorded their hottest September temperatures ever. They were Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Burley, and Challis. For the entire month the number of record high temperatures recorded were: Pocatello 5, Idaho Falls 6, Burley 3, Challis 5, and Stanley 2.

- Excessive Heat in Idaho, June 1 to 30, 2021It was the hottest June ever recorded at the Pocatello Regional Airport with an average monthly temperature of 69.9 degrees which was 7.7 degrees above the monthly normal.
- Excessive Heat in Idaho, June 1 to 30, 2021It was the hottest June ever recorded at Burley with an average monthly temperature of 71.2 degrees which was 7.8 degrees above the monthly normal.
- Excessive Heat in Idaho, June 1, 2021It was the hottest June ever recorded at Challis with an average monthly temperature of 70.1 degrees which was 9.2 degrees above the monthly normal.
- Excessive Heat in Idaho, June 1 to 30, 2021It was the hottest June ever recorded at Stanley with an average monthly temperature of 58.3 degrees which was 6.7 degrees above the monthly normal.
