- Dense Smoke in Idaho, September 4 to 8, 2017Smoke from numerous regional wildfires in Canada, Montana, Washington and Idaho fumigated north Idaho from September 4th through the 8th.
- Dense Smoke in Idaho, September 12 to 19, 2020Multiple large wildfires in Washington, Oregon, and surrounding states produced copious quantities of dense smoke throughout the month of September. The smoke from these fires severely degraded air quality across much of northern Idaho in mid-September.
