- Winter Weather and Sleet in Florida, December 26, 2010Low level moisture and strong cold air advection on the west side of a 1000 mb surface low offshore of the Georgia Atlantic Coast brought a wintry mix of snow flurries and sleet during the mid morning hours to parts of Northeast Florida.
- Sleet in Florida, February 11 to 12, 2010A surface low tracked eastward from the Gulf of Mexico with a surface warm front extending toward the southern Florida peninsula. Cold air was in place across the area as well as deep moisture.

- Winter Storm and Sleet in Florida, January 28 to 29, 2014An area of low pressure moved across the northern Gulf of Mexico January 28th and 29th. This system spread moisture northward across a very cold arctic airmass in place across the deep south. The precipitation fell as a mix of freezing rain and sleet across the Florida panhandle.
- Sleet in Florida, January 9, 2010A cold front was well south of the forecast area with an arctic airmass funneling over the area. Surface temperatures were in the 30s. Mid level moisture and a mid level trough combined to support scattered sleet and snow flurries across the area during the morning.
