- Dense Smoke in Florida, January 28 to 29, 2012The state Emergency Operations Center reported that dense smoke and possible road closures were occurring in the vicinity of Highway 20 and Smith Creek Road in far western Leon county. This smoke had settled to the ground from a prescribed burn in the area earlier in the day.
