- Strong Wind in Delaware, March 8, 2008A line of severe thunderstorms that accompanied a cold frontal passage produced wind damage across northern Delaware during the late afternoon of the 8th.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Delaware, January 2 to 3, 2014A winter storm dropped 4 to 8 inches of snow across Delaware from the late afternoon of the 2nd into the morning of the 3rd. This caused hazardous traveling conditions for the evening commute on the 2nd and the morning commute on the 3rd.
- Strong Wind in Delaware, December 1, 2004The combination of a rapidly intensifying low pressure system and a strong cold frontal passage produced peak wind gusts of around 50 mph across Delaware during the second half of the morning and throughout most of the afternoon.
- Storm Surge and Winter Storm in Delaware, February 16 to 17, 2003The most powerful storm to affect Delaware since the Blizzard of 1996 struck during the President's Day Weekend. Snow spread from south to north during the pre-dawn on Sunday the 16th. The heaviest snow fell during the daylight hours of the 16th.
- Flood and Coastal Flood in Delaware, September 1 to 5, 2006The combination of the remnants of Tropical Storm Ernnesto and a large high pressure system over eastern Canada produced heavy rain and flooding, strong and in some cases damaging winds, tidal flooding and beach erosion in Delaware.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Delaware, January 28 to 29, 1998An intense northeaster pounded Kent and Sussex Counties with tidal flooding, beach erosion, strong winds and heavy rain on the 28th. Conditions were progressively worse closer to the coast in Kent and Sussex Counties. Severe coastal flooding was reported in Sussex County.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Delaware, May 12, 2008A potent low pressure system in the Ohio Valley during the early morning hours of May 11th moved eastward and gradually weakened.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, January 18, 2006Strong to high southeast winds during the early morning and strong west winds during the late morning and afternoon buffeted Delaware.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, February 18 to 20, 2011Strong to high west to northwest winds affected Delaware from the evening of the 18th through the evening of the 19th. Peak wind gusts averaged 50 to 60 mph. The winds tore down trees, tree limbs and wires and caused power outages.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, February 12, 2009Strong to high winds affected Delaware during the day on the 12th. The highest winds occurred shortly after a cold frontal passage around 7 a.m. EST and again around 3 p.m. EST in the afternoon.
- High Wind and High Surf in Delaware, September 10 to 11, 2009A low pressure system that formed off the Carolina coast on the 6th meandered slowly northeast into the 10th before it started to retrograde toward the Delaware and New Jersey coasts the night of the 10th.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, March 2, 2009Strong to high winds occurred just after Midnight EST on March 2nd in Kent and Sussex Counties as a gravity wave helped mix stronger winds aloft to the ground. Peak wind gusts reached around 60 mph in Sussex County.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, October 28, 2008Gusty northwest winds that reached as high as 63 mph occurred from the mid morning into the afternoon across Delaware. Two homes were damaged by downed trees in New Castle (New Castle County).
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, December 26 to 27, 2010Strong to high winds that started during the afternoon of the winter storm on the 26th persisted into the early evening of the 27th. Peak wind gusts were around 50 mph and knocked down some weak tree limbs and power lines.
- Strong Wind in Delaware, December 7 to 8, 2011A rapidly intensifying low pressure system caused strong northwest winds to occur across Delaware from the evening of the 7th through the early morning on the 8th. Peak wind gusts were 40 to 50 mph and downed tree limbs and weak rooted trees throughout the state.
- Strong Wind in Delaware, March 2, 2005Gusty northwest winds circulating around an intense low pressure system in the Canadian Maritimes helped fan the flames of a house fire and hampered firefighters efforts in combating it. A 74-year-old man died in the blaze.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, February 13, 2014Strong to high northeast to east winds associated with the coastal low pressure system occurred across Delaware during the morning of the 13th.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Delaware, October 2 to 4, 2015A persistent onshore flow caused periods of heavy rain, strong to high winds, beach erosion, and moderate tidal flooding to occur across Delaware from the 1st through the 4th. Strong winds and minor tidal flooding started with the daytime high tide cycle on the 1st.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Delaware, January 23, 2017An area of low pressure over North Carolina on the 23rd strengthened and moved northeast to a location just off the New Jersey Coastline on the morning of the 24th. With a very tight pressure gradient, winds increased ahead of the storm reaching in excess of 50 mph.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, January 14 to 15, 2006A slow moving and intense low pressure system combined with a high pressure ridge across the Mississippi Valley to produce a prolonged period of strong to high winds across Delaware from the late afternoon on the 14th through the late afternoon on the 15th.
- Coastal Flood and Strong Wind in Delaware, December 19, 2009In addition to the heavy snow, the nor'easter produced strong gusty northeast winds along the Delaware coast from the early morning into the early evening of the 19th.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Delaware, January 25, 2010Strong to high southerly winds affected Delaware during the morning of the 25th. Peak wind gusts averaged around 50 mph, with the strongest winds in the southern part of the state.
- Strong Wind in Delaware, January 2 to 3, 2010Strong and gusty west to northwest winds occurred for nearly twenty-four hours across Delaware from the evening of the 2nd through the afternoon of the 3rd.
- Strong Wind in Delaware, April 16, 2011Strong south to southeast winds affected Delaware during the late afternoon and evening of the 16th. Peak wind gusts averaged 45 to 55 mph and coupled with the heavy rain, knocked down weak trees, tree limbs and wires.
- Strong Wind in Delaware, December 27, 2011Strong south winds occurred during the late afternoon and the early part of the evening on the 27th. A line of showers also helped mix stronger winds to the surface. Peak wind gusts averaged around 50 mph.
