- Ice Storm in Colorado, January 9, 2017An abnormally mild Pacific storm system produced rainfall which fell into some western Colorado valleys where trapped air with temperatures below freezing resulted in the formation of freezing rain.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Colorado, January 3 to 5, 2005A winter storm deposited heavy snow over parts of southern Colorado as well as respectable ice accumulations over parts of southeast Colorado.
- Ice Storm in Colorado, January 15 to 16, 2017A quarter of an inch of ice accumulated over Cheyenne County as three waves of freezing drizzle and freezing rain moved over the county. The highest ice accumulation was 0.30 reported near Cheyenne Wells.
