- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Colorado, June 22 to 23, 2023Exceptionally severe weather continues over southern Colorado with the continued deluge of moist air coming from the Pacific and remnant moisture from previous moisture from widespread heavy rainfall.
- Tornado and Hail in Colorado, May 14, 2007Severe thunderstorms producing large hail, very heavy rain and tornadoes impacted the Urban Corridor and adjacent plains. Heavy rain associated with a severe thunderstorm caused flooding along a small tributary draining into the South Platte River.
- Hail and Lightning Strike in Colorado, July 19, 2016A strong thunderstorm produced hail up to nickel size in central Jefferson County. Very heavy rainfall was observed across central and southern parts of Denver. Minor flooding was observed when a thunderstorm dropped around 1.5 inches of rainfall in 30 minutes.
- Heavy Rain in Colorado, August 1, 2006Heavy rain caused flooding of streets, highways, and some properties from Clifton to Palisade. Minor flooding of residential streets and portions of Interstate 70 occurred between the Palisade and Clifton exits.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Colorado, June 24 to 25, 2026Numerous thunderstorms tracked across eastern Colorado during the late afternoon and evening hours of the 24th. Hail, strong winds, and two tornadoes were observed. In addition heavy rainfall in the Evergreen area produced flash flooding late on the 24th and early on the 25th.

The Four Corners area and west central Colorado received the brunt of the heavy precipitation.

- Heavy Rain in Colorado, July 29, 1998Heavy rainfall estimated from radar to be about two inches within an hour fell in the downtown area of Grand Junction. Water accumulated up to three feet deep in places, resulting in flooding of many homes and businesses, as well as some damage to streets.
- Flash Flooding and Heavy Rain in Colorado, August 1, 2021Widespread moderate to heavy rainfall occurred across much of the eastern mountains and adjacent locations along the I-25 corridor on this day. Rainfall as high as 2 to 5 inches was observed in many locations, with flash flooding occurring across parts of Pueblo county.

- Heavy Rain in Colorado, June 27, 1996A heavy downpour of rain and hail caused the roof of a video and book store to collapse. The basement of the Justice Building was flooded and traffic was interrupted by flooded streets. Marble size hail accumulated up to a half foot in depth.
