- Tropical Storm in California, September 25, 1997Periods of rain associated with Tropical Storm Nora caused extensive crop damage in Imperial County. Most places in Imperial Valley received more than an inch of rain, with one rain gage measuring 2.38 inches. Crops across the county suffered damage from carrots to cotton.
- Tropical Storm and Flash Flooding in California, August 19 to 22, 2023Tropical Storm Hilary made landfall across northern Baja California on August 20, and moved through Southern California that afternoon and evening.
