- Wildfire in Arkansas, March 7, 2020Gusty wind resulted in a brush fire getting out of control and spreading near Nob Hill in Washington County. The wildfire trapped a woman between a barbed wire fence and the fire. The woman was severely burned, and was flown to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, August 1 to 7, 2011Very dry, hot, and breezy conditions, along with extremely dry fuels as a result of the long-term drought the region has experienced, promoted the rapid spread of a wildfire on the 3rd.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, January 8 to 9, 2006A large wildfire burned Sunday afternoon and evening across Central Ashley county. This fire burned nearly 6000 acres just southeast of Hamburg. Four homes were burned along with two camping trailers and 2 outbuildings.

The fire burned two chicken houses, a barn and a vehicle.

- Wildfire in Arkansas, November 17 to 18, 2016Unseasonably warm temperatures, strong gusty wind, low relative humidity, and very dry vegetation promoted the rapid spread of several wildfires in northwestern Arkansas on the 17th. The largest was in Franklin County near Cecil and Charleston.

- Wildfire in Arkansas, October 16, 2011Strong winds and low humidity resulted in a grass fire that rapidly spread across Columbia County, Arkansas, 4 miles south of Magnolia. The fire consumed 200 acres of grassland. The fire spread to Hwy. 79 where traffic was rerouted onto a county road for approximately two hours.

- Wildfire in Arkansas, June 30, 2012The Clinton Fire began near Cleveland in Conway County and eventually spread into Van Buren County. The fire burned 110 acres. Three firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion. At least five fire departments and the Arkansas Forestry Commission fought the fire.

- Wildfire in Arkansas, February 14, 2014Dry and breezy conditions contributed to the spread of a wildfire that burned about 40 acres near Alma in Crawford County. The fire damaged a mobile home.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, June 28, 2012An attempt to burn a pile of bamboo led to a 5 acre wildfire at East End in Saline County on the 28th. Seven fire departments fought the blaze. Two firefighters suffered heat exhaustion.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, January 29, 2008Very strong wind ahead of and behind a cold front, combined with low relative humidities and dry fuels contributed to a wildfire that burned 100 acres, including 197 buildings at Fort Chaffee. Many of these structures were scheduled for demolition and were all unoccupied.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, June 20, 2012A wildfire at Holland in Faulkner County burned only 10 acres but destroyed two homes and two outbuildings. The fire threatened an additional 10 homes and 13 outbuildings. Six fire departments and the Arkansas Forestry Commission fought the blaze. One firefighter was injured.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, July 1, 2012The Social Hill Fire 4 miles north of Midway in Hot Spring County burned 115 acres on the 1st. One camper at a deer camp burned. One firefighter was treated for heat-related injuries.
- Wildfire in Arkansas, October 10 to 14, 2010Dry weather continued into the second week of October. The lack of rainfall, low humidities, and unusually warm temperatures permitted favorable conditions for the development of wildfires.
