- Wildfire in Alabama, September 18 to 22, 2010A period of very dry and hot weather led to numerous mostly small grass fires across north Alabama. One of these grass fires became larger on the weekend of the 18th - 20th in Franklin county charring between 250 and 300 acres of land alone.
- Wildfire in Alabama, March 8, 2010High pressure over the Tennessee Valley produced dry and warm conditions across much of northern Alabama.
- Wildfire in Alabama, March 14, 2014Dry conditions and gusty winds helped a wildfire rapidly spread near the town of Littleville. Nearly 500 acres were burned.
- Wildfire in Alabama, August 27 to 30, 2000A lightning strike ignited a fire in the forest of northeast Monroe County on the afternoon of the 27th. The fire burned out of control for 4 days, consuming about 560 acres of woodlands.
- Wildfire in Alabama, November 12 to 16, 2011A wildfire began on the 12th near Courtland, Alabama. Windy and dry conditions that day allowed the fire to spread quickly. The fire began near County Roads 284 and 288. The fire came within a half mile of a dozen homes, but none were impacted.
- Wildfire in Alabama, August 29 to 31, 2011A wildfire grew to 340 acres off County Road 739 near Ider from August 29th to the 31st.
- Wildfire in Alabama, March 18 to 22, 2012A wildfire developed in western Lauderdale County on the afternoon of the 18th north of Waterloo. A second fire developed on the 19th northeast of Waterloo near County Road 90. One trailer home was destroyed by this wildfire. The larger wildfire scorched over 700 acres.
- Wildfire in Alabama, April 1, 2014Dry conditions and gusty winds helped a wildfire rapidly spread along DeKalb County Road 169 near the Alabama and Georgia state line. Around 100 acres were burned.
- Wildfire in Alabama, October 16 to 29, 2015Dry and warm conditions with no precipitation and daytime high temperatures in the 80s preceded a dry cold front that crossed north Alabama on October 16th.
