Numerous showers and thunderstorms impacted parts of the Ark-La-Tex region during the afternoon and early evening hours on June 14th as convection continued to develop and locally expand in coverage as a result of colliding outflow boundaries. Much of the region remained quite moist and unstable in advance of the developing convection, with MLCAPE values as high as 2000 to 3000 J/kg and precipitable water values near 2 inches. One of these thunderstorms produced damaging wind gusts across northern Caddo Parish where multiple trees were downed near Black Bayou Lake in Hosston.
