A strong thunderstorm produced a microburst that was surveyed by NWS State College, which was estimated to have produced 60 mph wind gusts when it crossed county lines into Luzerne County. Numerous trees and wires were knocked down just inside the county and a tree fell onto a structure resulting in a partial collapse.
