Remnants of Hurricane Beryl tracked across the St. Lawrence Valley of NY and Canada during the afternoon and evening hours of July 10th. Numerous individual supercell-like thunderstorms developed and moved across NY into VT with various wind damage, hail and heavy rainfall.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN AND ST.
LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM EDT...

At 1118 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gouverneur, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Potsdam, Gouverneur, Canton, Oswegatchie, De Kalb, Fowler, Colton,
Morley, Degrasse, Richville, Cranberry Lake, Rensselaer Falls,
Hermon, Horseshoe Lake, Star Lake, Norwood, Madrid, Pierrepont,
Russell, and Fine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
