A utility pole was blown down onto trees along Randall Road.

Several trees were blown down in the Sleepy Hollow and West Dundee area.

Widespread tree and powerline damage was reported in Carpentersville. A few trees were snapped. The worst of the damage was east of the Fox River between Route 68 and Route 62.

A large tree four to five feet in diameter was snapped and fell onto nearby utility poles between Douglas Avenue and Spring Street. Several other medium to large tree limbs were blown down in the area.

A five inch diameter tree limb was snapped off a tree.

A tornado with peak winds of 75 mph touched down just southeast of the intersection of Golf and Bartlett Roads. The tornado produced only tree damage as it moved southeast through a wooded area. The tornado lifted south of Poplar Creek.

Widespread tree damage occurred across much of Streamwood, including trees snapped and uprooted and power lines blown down. Numerous medium size tree limbs were blown down near Tanglewood Drive, south of Schaumburg Road.

A funnel cloud was reported near Route 58 and Route 59.

Large tree limbs were blown down to the west in Hoffman Estates. One large tree limb was blocking a street.

One small airplane was flipped over and another small airplane was pushed into a fence at the Schaumburg Regional Airport. The tie down cables that were attached to the plane that flipped over broke.

Numerous large tree limbs were blown down on the west and south sides of Schaumburg.

Mature trees were blown down in Arlington Heights. Numerous tree limbs were also blown down, some blocking roads.

A tornado with peak winds of 80 mph touched down just west of Roselle Road and just south of Lunt Avenue. Trees were uprooted near Roselle Road just after the tornado touched down. The tornado caused roof damage to a fast food restaurant building along Roselle Road, just south of Nerge Road. Sporadic tree damage continued along the path until the tornado crossed Devon Avenue and into DuPage County.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Roselle in Cook County.

Wind gusts were estimated to 60 mph.

A tornado with peak winds of 80 mph which touched down in Cook County, crossed Devon Avenue into DuPage County. The tornado produced only sporadic tree damage in DuPage County as it moved southeast. The tornado lifted between Sunnyside Road and Turner Avenue, just west of Lake Park East High School.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Roselle in DuPage County. Many roads were blocked by fallen trees. One tree fell onto a house causing structural damage.

A few trees were blown down and a few power lines were blown down in Prospect Heights.

Video shared on social media showed roofing material blown off an industrial building from north to south near Louis Avenue and Lively Boulevard.

Quarter size hail was reported at Route 53 and Lake Cook Road.

Scattered tree limbs were blown down in Des Plaines, along with a few large trees. One tree was blown down in the 700 block of Algonquin Road and another tree was blown down in the 2500 block of Scott Street.

Multiple trees and utility poles were blown down in Bensenville.

Numerous tree limbs were blown down in Park Ridge. Wind gusts were estimated to 70 mph.

Trees were uprooted and snapped in Franklin Park.

A photo shared on social media showed large tree limbs blown down west of Elmhurst University.

Several tree limbs were blown down just northwest of Montrose Harbor.

Minor street flooding was reported at numerous locations in Chicago, with most of the reports across north and northeast Chicago. A few underpasses were also flooded.

Trees were damaged and power lines were blown down in Northlake.

Multiple large trees were damaged across Stone Park, including several large tree limbs one foot in diameter that were blown down. Multiple cars were damaged by the falling tree limbs. Damage to shingles occurred to one residence.

Roof tiles were blown off and a window was broken at Value City Furniture in Northlake.

Multiple trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Berkeley. Large tree limbs blocked streets near Hawthorn and Morris Avenues. At least one house had gutter damage from falling tree limbs.

Scattered tree limbs and power lines were blown down between Foster Avenue and Irving Park Road in the Jefferson Park and Portage Park neighborhoods of Chicago.

Tree limbs were blown down and some shingles were blown off roofs in Albany Park. One tree was uprooted and fell onto a three story building.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down across Bellwood.

A large section of the roof of an apartment building was peeled off, exposing numerous apartments at the corner of 24th Avenue and Washington Boulevard. Two people in the apartment building were injured. Wind gusts were estimated between 90 and 95 mph.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down across Westchester. Some trees were uprooted or snapped. Some trees fell onto houses and onto vehicles. Many roads were blocked by fallen trees. Windows were blown out on the second floor of a vacant office building along Roosevelt Road, causing significant wind damage inside the second floor. Two apartment buildings along Westchester Boulevard had part of their roofs peeled back with debris blown down to the street. A three foot diameter soft wood tree nearby was uprooted. A garage was destroyed near Dickens Street and Newcastle Avenue after a large tree fell on it. Several houses suffered the loss of roof covering in the area of Mannheim Road and Waterford Drive. Wind speeds were estimated to 90 mph.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Broadview. Photos showed utility poles snapped and blocking a street near 21st Avenue and Cermak Road. Numerous utility poles were also snapped at 25th Avenue and Cermak Road.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between North Avenue and Madison Street in the North Austin, Austin and South Austin neighborhoods of Chicago.

Large trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in North Riverside. The worst damage on the east side appeared to be concentrated between 23rd Street and Traube Street, particularly in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Burr Oak Avenue and 2500 block of Hainsworth Avenue, where fallen trees blocked roadways.

Photos shared on social media showed multiple trees, tree limbs and power lines blown down, north of 31st Street between La Grange Road and Maple Avenue.

A large tree was uprooted and numerous large tree limbs were blown down in Berwyn.

Extensive tree damage occurred on the west side of North Riverside, from west of 8th Avenue, southeast through the forest preserves near the Caledonia Senior Living Center. No damaged occurred to the center, but trees were damaged on its grounds and along its edges including damaged fences and access to the facility was blocked. Numerous trees were fully or partially blown down in the area near Komarek School.

Several tree limbs were blown down south of Fullerton Avenue near Lake Shore Drive.

A large tree from a residential backyard fell onto the wall of the Ames School gymnasium but did little to no damage. The tree fell onto part of the wall with no windows. The tree also fell onto a chain-link fence, which was damaged and fell onto a power line.

Hundreds of trees were damaged in Riverside, including trees blown down, snapped and uprooted. Many roads were blocked by fallen trees. Eight houses were damaged by falling trees, including homes in the 200 and 300 blocks of East Quincy Street. A large tree was uprooted and fell onto a house on Lawton Road, severely damaging the home. Utility poles and powerlines were also blown down. Numerous roads were blocked by fallen trees and tree limbs. Numerous trees were blown down onto the railroad tracks near the Riverside station.

A 64 year old man was seriously injured when a large tree limb crashed through his windshield near 31st Street and McCormick Avenue. The man was a resident of North Riverside and suffered multiple injuries including rib fractures, a fractured arm and wrist, a punctured lung and other internal injuries.

Brookfield Zoo sustained extensive tree damage throughout the park. Dozens of large trees were blown down and snapped, along with many large tree limbs blown down. No animals or people were injured and no buildings were damaged.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Brookfield. Some trees were snapped or uprooted. One tree fell onto a house at the corner of Washington Avenue and McCormick Avenue, damaging the roof. Some roads were blocked by the fallen trees. Numerous trees were blown down onto the railroad tracks near the Congress Park station. A handful of trees were blown down in Kiwanis Park, including an oak tree that snapped 15 feet from its base and landed on the concession stand next to Overholt Field.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between Division Street and Chicago Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago. At least one large tree fell onto a car, damaging the back end of the car and blocking a road.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Lyons. A photo showed a large tree that was uprooted and fell onto a house. Two large trees were uprooted, which damaged a sidewalk.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Stickney. Some trees fell onto cars, including a tree that fell on a car in the 3800 block of Wenonah Avenue. Both front and back windows were shattered and the car was dented. Structural damage was reported to a hobby shop on Ogden Avenue. A tree fell onto a house near 40th Street and Euclid Avenue and a large tree was uprooted at 39th Street and Elmwood Avenue.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between Roosevelt Road and 31st Street in the Lawndale, North Lawndale and Little Village neighborhoods of Chicago.

Trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in the north and northeast portions of La Grange.

Multiple trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Forest View.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between Interstate 55 and west of Midway Airport.

A photo shared on social media showed the wall of a parking garage that was blown out at a car dealership near North Avenue and Halsted Street. A building next to the parking garage had been demolished and the wall that was blown out was not designed to be an exterior wall, likely contributing to it being damaged.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between 31st Street and 55th Street in the Douglas, Kenwood and Hyde Park neighborhoods of Chicago. Some trees were uprooted near Hyde Park. A large portion of a hardwood tree was blown down across the road near 3900 Lake Park Avenue.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between 51st Avenue and 59th Avenue, in the Back Of The Yards neighborhood of Chicago. A large 2 to 3 foot diameter hardwood tree was blown down, taking down power lines and a fence in the 5100 block of Throop Street.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between 55th Street and 83rd Street in the Chicago Lawn and Auburn Gresham neighborhoods of Chicago.

Trees, tree limbs, power lines and light poles were blown down in a swath between 71st Street and 87th Street in the South Shore and South Chicago neighborhoods of Chicago.
