A very pleasant and warm day wrapping up with just a couple pop up showers along the sea breeze boundaries. These showers have been isolated and short-lived. The forecast remains on track so no changes were made at this time. && .AVIATION... Vfr conditions will prevail at all terminals. Onshore flow this evening becomes light and variable overnight. Sunday the winds should remain below 10 kts until the sea breeze causes a slight increase around 18Z. && .Prev Discussion... /issued 146 PM EDT Sat May 14 2022/ DISCUSSION... Weather will be staying pretty quiet for the weekend and early part of next week. This is due to some drier air filtering in and high pressure settling in the Gulf of Mexico. This will result in limited shower activity day to day. Temperatures will slowly be on the rise and by middle part of next week we could see inland areas reaching the mid 90's. High pressure will start to dissipate as we go through the end of the work week which will help to slowly bring moisture back into the forecast however shower chances will be still very hit or miss. AVIATION... VFR conditions expected through the period with winds staying below 10 knots. A few isolated showers and storms will be possible inland however chances are low so opted to keep out of TAFs. MARINE... High pressure settling into the Gulf of Mexico will result in light flow for the weekend and early next week keeping winds below 15 knots. Rain shower chances will also be low during the time period and most of the activity will stay on land or right along the coast. FIRE WEATHER... High pressure in the Gulf of Mexico will keep winds light through the period and bring us some low RHs.
