.NEAR TERM [Through Tonight]...
Widespread patchy to dense fog across the Tri-State region this
morning as the warm, moist air mass still has a major influence. The
fog is expected to lift around mid-late morning. Our pattern will
change through the day as a weak cold front will make its way
through the region this afternoon and evening, bringing in a drier
air mass behind it. There is a slight chance for showers in our
western counties this afternoon with PoPs being about 20-25%. The
High for today is forecast to be in the low-mid 80s in the Big Bend
and GA counties, and mid-upper 70s along the coast and our Panhandle
and AL counties. The low tonight will range from the low 50s in the
northwest to the upper 50s in the southeast.
.SHORT TERM [Saturday Through Monday]...
A trough across the central CONUS on Saturday will slide eastward
and bring another front to the region on Sunday. The ECMWF remains
more aggressive with bringing a shortwave across the CWA on
Monday and results in higher PoPs compared to the GFS. Forecast is
generally a blend of solutions resulting in chance PoPs Sunday
afternoon through Monday. Despite the cold front moving through in
the near term, highs on Saturday will only be slightly cooler
(around 2 degrees) compared to today with highs in the mid 70s to
lower 80s and then behind the second front on Sunday, highs will
be limited to the mid 60s to lower 70s on Monday. Lows are
forecast to be in the 40s and 50s.
.LONG TERM [Monday Night Through Friday]...
High pressure will build in on Tuesday and dominate for much of the
week. This will lead to a dry forecast for the long term. Expect
highs in the 70s with lows generally in the 40s. Overall,
temperatures will be slightly above normal for this time of year.

.AVIATION...
[Through 06Z Saturday]
Fog is mainly confined along the coast at this time but, is expected
to soon spread inland as the night progresses. Widespread vsbys of
1/4SM are expected overnight but will begin to improve around by mid-
morning. VFR conditions will begin to return later in the afternoon
as a cold front will be making its way through the region today,
shifting winds northerly this afternoon into the evening.

.MARINE...
Dense fog across the marine area west of Apalachicola will persist
through the morning, while dense fog across the Apalachee Bay region
lasts into the afternoon. A weak cold front will move into the
western marine waters this afternoon and that will help to reduce
fog potential for tonight. That said though, some fog east of
Apalachicola is expected again tonight, although visibilities may
not be quite as low. Another front will push into the southeast on
Sunday and this will result in increased winds and seas Sunday night
into early next week with exercise caution conditions expected.

.FIRE WEATHER...
Morning fog is expected to clear around mid morning. Dispersion
values will be below 20 for most of the region today. There is about
a 20% of showers this afternoon for out Alabama counties. Areas east
of the Albany-Tallahassee line and away from the coast will have
dispersions rise above 20 this afternoon. Widespread dispersions
below 20 for Saturday, following Friday's cold front. The cold
front, albeit weak, will shift winds to be northwesterly this
afternoon and evening. The front will usher in drier air with
minimum RH values in the 30s and 40s for Saturday.

.HYDROLOGY...
While there are low end rain chances in the forecast today, Sunday
and Monday, rainfall amounts will be limited. Given this, flooding
is not anticipated.
