Further north, anticipate some convection to develop late in the afternoon up toward the Lake Livingston region as a diffuse frontal boundary sags into or close to the region. Areas between IAH-UTS will probably see the best areal shra/tstm coverage going into the evening before things gradually settle down a few hours after sunset and the loss of heating. Gusty winds will be a possibility in any of the stronger cells that manage to develop late this afternoon/evening. Otherwise, VFR conditions should mostly persist outside of convection.
