There were two areas of localized extensive damage across eastern New York. The first was from Dolgeville to Stratford where numerous trees and wires were downed as well as damage to roofs. A second area was around Speculator where around 100 trees were downed according to Hamilton County Dispatch.

10 thunderstorm wind. Local standard time, as filed.
A tree was downed blocking Harter Street near Eastern Gardens in the Village of Herkimer.
A tree and wires were downed on Smalls Bush Road near East Herkimer.
Trees and wires were downed near the City of Little Falls.
Herkimer County Emergency Management concluded straight-line wind damage occurred in Dolgeville. Damage was observed along portions of Horn Street, North Helmer Avenue, West State Street, North Main Street, Cline Street and East Faville Avenue. Damage consisted of numerous downed trees, some landing on cars, downed power lines and damage to roofs, chimneys and fences. A tree and power lines were also downed on Stewart Street blocking the road.
Numerous trees and wires were downed along a path of County Route 29A between Red School Road and Seeley Road near the Town of Stratford. Some of the trees were reported snapped 15 feet above the ground. Trees were all reported down in the same direction, suggesting straight-line wind damage occurred. The damage started in eastern Herkimer County and ended across northwestern Fulton County.
Around 100 trees were downed, centered along Elm Lake Road, near the Village of Speculator.
Route 9N was closed at Ben Rosa Park Road in Lake-Luzerne-Hadley due to a downed tree.
A low hanging tree on wires was reported.
A tree and wires were downed at the intersection of Route 28A and Brodhead Road.
A tree and wires were downed with a transformer fire on Foordmore Road in the Hamlet of Kerhonkson.
