Scattered showers and later thunderstorms will be possible through the afternoon and overnight as a front moves through the area. In addition, fog/sea fog will again be possible especially after 08z through 15z. IFR conditions or less possible during this period. Conditions then start to improve especially across the northern terminals after 15z. && .Prev Discussion... /issued 1038 AM EST Sat Feb 6 2021/ DISCUSSION... A frontal boundary is in place across the southern Nature Coast this morning, with plenty of warm and moist air across the area. A few showers are also in place this morning along with plenty of sea fog, land fog, and low clouds. Sea fog is expected to remain through Sunday with the front finally pushing through and allowing it to clear. A few strong to severe storms will be possible this afternoon/early evening with damaging winds being the greatest threat, though isolated hail and a tornado cannot be ruled out. Current forecast covers all this well and have only adjusted the thunderstorm coverage from slight to chance in the slight risk areas. Update is out. AVIATION... Fog and low clouds continue at the terminals this morning, with the sites around Tampa Bay influenced by sea fog. Ceilings and visibilities expected to lift as we go into the afternoon, with showers and thunderstorms then possible mainly after 20z and through the overnight hours. Showers and storms will end with the frontal passage early Sunday. MARINE... Patchy to areas of sea fog are developing over the coastal waters and are expected to continue through Sunday, with the frontal passage finally clearing out the area. Winds and seas are expected to remain below headlines through the period.
