The radio station, 93 KHJ reported a drowning near the Airport during palolo hunting. Sources say the fisherman was not familiar with the area and was possibly swept out due to strong rip currents and high surfs.
As the offices recorded each death: direct deaths were caused by the weather itself, indirect ones by something it set in motion.
