Lake-effect snow showers continued in areas north of I-80, where 24-hour snow totals of around three inches were observed in some locations. Low-level convergence along a weak surface trough produced some snow showers near the I-70 corridor and south, with upslope influence providing additional support for snow along the Allegheny Front. Three to six inches of accumulation was noted in many of the higher elevation areas.
