A hot and humid airmass resulted in heat indices around 95 degrees during the afternoon and evening of July 11th in the Hudson Valley. A severe thunderstorm developed in this airmass and moved through the Mid-Hudson Valley during the evening, resulting in a couple of wind damage reports.
