A cold front worked across the region the evening of the 14th into the morning of the 15th. Strong moisture advection ahead of the front combined with strong lift with the front led to a narrow band of heavy snowfall near the Twin Ports, with reports of 6 to 10 inches in the area.

A site near Esko reported 11 inches of snow for the event. Little in the way of major impacts were observed with the snow falling on a Saturday night/Sunday morning.
