A weak low pressure system passing south of Wisconsin brought snow to the state. The snowfall was enhanced by Lake Michigan, resulting in snowfall totals in the 6 to 8 inch range in the counties bordering the lake.

The highest measured snowfall totals were 7.5 inches near Potawatomi State Park (Door Co.), 7.5 inches at Kewaunee (Kewaunee Co.), 7.5 inches at Manitowoc (Manitowoc Co.), and 7.2 inches at Two Rivers (Manitowoc Co.).
