The Fox River at Berlin remained in flood much of the month after cresting at moderate flood stage toward the end of March. Some homes on Webster St. in Berlin are affected by floodwaters. Riverside and Webster St. parks are flooded.
The Rock River at Fort Atkinson crested at moderate flood stage in late March and continued to flood into the 1st week of April. The river walkway in Fort Atkinson is flooded and closed. On the west side of Fort Atkinson, the southern portion of Rock River Park is flooded and Sinissippi Dr. is closed. On the east side of Fort Atkinson, Bark River Rd. from Kutz Road to Rock River Rd. is flooded and closed. Rock River Rd. from highway 106 to the Fort Atkinson city limits is flooded and closed.
The Rock River at Lake Koshkonong crested at major flood stage in late March and continued to flood into April 9th. There is widespread flooding of roads and docks in the Town of Koshkonong and the Town of Sumner including Vets Lane, Blackhawk Island Rd., and Oxbow Bend Rd.
The Rock River at Afton crested in late March at minor flood stage. The minor flooding continued until April 12th. Floodwaters affect the property of a home on South Christian Rd. on the east side of the river in the Afton area. Floodwaters affect Riverside Park on the north side of Janesville, and South River Rd. on the south side of Janesville. There is widespread lowland and agricultural flooding in the Afton and Janesville areas.
The Wisconsin River at Portage crested at minor flood stage in late March and continued into early April. In the Blackhawk Park area in the Town of Caledonia, Wood St. is affected by floodwaters. Old River Rd. and Blackhawk Rd. is flooded and closed. Near Long Lake, West Lane Rd. and West Lake Rd. are flooded and closed. County Highway V and Oak Knoll Road in the Town of Dekorra have water up to the edge of the pavement. A few homes in the Town of Dekorra have water in the first floor, and there is also flooding of outbuildings and yards.
