Snow melt runoff caused the Maple River near Frederick to go above the flood stage of 10 feet in the early morning of April 2nd. 3 feet late in the evening of the 2nd before falling slowly to below flood stage during the afternoon of the 10th.

Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

Snow melt runoff caused the Maple River near Frederick to go above the flood stage of 10 feet in the early morning of April 2nd. The river quickly rose to the major flood stage of 14.3 feet late in the evening of the 2nd before falling slowly to below flood stage during the afternoon of the 10th.
