A weak cell popped up along the lake shore in the evening. This cell was very isolated, but due to cold air aloft coming over the lake and warm late summer water temperatures, a water spout was reported from SUNY-Oswego.

along a line extending from near Wellesley Island State Park to 11
miles west of Cedar Point State Park. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 35 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.
