Most of northeast Iowa was covered with another six inches or more of snow from a storm system that passed across the region from late on February 19th into the 20th. Most snowfall amounts were in the 6 to 9 inch range with the highest reported total being 9.5 inches near Nora Springs (Floyd County). Numerous school districts utilized two hour late starts on the 21st following the snow.
