In the Ozark Mountains of the northwest, it was snowing by daybreak. At 700 am CST, light snow was reported at Harrison (Boone County). Temperatures were in the mid and upper 20s. However, given less than a tenth of an inch of liquid to make flakes, the most that accumulated in any spot was a half inch. Even so, some roads became partially snow covered.
