Heavy precipitation of 3.35 inches of rain over a 24-hour period was recorded at the NWS Pago Pago. As grounds were already saturated prior to this event, many flooded reports in the typical villages with poor drainage systems like Futiga, Tafuna, and Fagaalu were called in. Also, 2 landslides were observed. 1. in Fagaalu 2. in Fatu ma Futi village.
