Outflow winds from thunderstorms downed several mature trees in Gregory.
Grain trailers were tipped over by high thunderstorm winds, along with numerous large branches down.
With dry conditions over the preceding 7 to 10 days, strong outflow pushing out ahead of thunderstorms created widespread blowing dust with visibility of less than a quarter mile. Winds estimated to gust to 60 mph based on social media video.
Thunderstorm outflow winds were measured on a handheld anemometer.
At the corner of State Highway 11 and 300th St., thunderstorm winds leveled a seed warehouse and office. The debris was spread across the highway into an abandoned building across the street. At the latter location, winds blew over a refrigerated semi-trailer.
