Weather observers across Cass County measured 6 to 7 inches of snow, including 7.0 inches 5 miles NNE of Arenzville. Numerous traffic accidents were reported due to snow-covered roads.
Weather observers across Morgan County measured 6 to 7 inches of snow, including 6.5 inches 1 mile SW of Jacksonville and 6.0 inches in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville total was the earliest recorded occurrence of 6 or more inches of snow in that city since 1900. Numerous traffic accidents were reported due to snow-covered roads.
