Expecting max coverage along Hwy 301 corridor where sea breezes merge late this afternoon, then decreasing coverage during the evening. Otherwise partly cloudy skies expected with low temps as currently forecast. For Wed, upper trough weakens over the southeastern U.S., but still expecting at least scattered coverage of mostly afternoon showers/t-storms. Similar high temps Wed compared to Today, with values around 90. .SHORT TERM.../Wednesday night through Thursday night/...Upper trough continues to weaken...with flat upper ridge east-west across southern half of FL by Thursday/Thursday night. Pattern will still support scattered afternoon/evening showers/t-storms, with little change to high/low temperatures. .LONG TERM.../Friday through Monday/...Weak upper ridging remains over FL, with a weak inverted trough moving westward across the area Sunday into Monday. Storms may get near KGNV and KSSI this afternoon, and kept VCTS in the TAFs. Light southwesterly winds will prevail overnight and through the end of the TAF period. && .MARINE...Low pressure trough will remain just to the west of the area through Friday and continue to weaken.
