No major changes to the forecast package other than freshening up
the near term to represent current obs. Morning temperatures were
slightly warmer than forecast, but still calling for daytime
highs near 60 across southeast Georgia and mid 60s across
northeast Florida. Frost possible near the coast, and freeze
conditions elsewhere still appear likely for tonight.

VFR conditions with northwest winds around 10-15 knots with gusts
near 20 knots will continue through the afternoon. Winds will
subside after sunset and become light and variable overnight.

.MARINE...
Northwest winds will increase to 15-25 knots over the waters
today with SCEC headlines nearshore and SCA flags for the offshore
waters with seas 5-7 ft. Winds/seas subside tonight as high
pressure builds into the region and ends up just south of the
waters on Friday then pushes into the western Atlantic over the
weekend.

.FIRE WEATHER...
Near Red Flag conditions are still expected to develop this
afternoon as northwest winds strengthen and relative humidity
drops.These factors in combination with high ERC values over
northeast and north central Florida and 10 hour fuel moisture
levels near critical values over southeast Georgia will
create Red Flag conditions for all of our area throughout the
afternoon hours.
