Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.
Another outflow event was characterized by a 1050 MB high over the Yukon and temperatures in the mid -40s over Canada. Strong pressure gradients and moderate cold advection caused high wind gusts at the Skagway marine exchange site. A more glancing blow of cold air as opposed to the last system combined with the lack of strong low pressure to the south limited gusts below 70 mph and also the length of the outflow event. No damage was reported.

.SHORT TERM.../Through Friday night/ Upper ridge will build over
the gulf and interior AK as a couple of shortwave trofs move S and
SE across SE AK tonight and Thu. Surface high will build over NW
Canada through Thu morning, then begin to weaken and shift SE into
BC Thu night into Fri night. A surface trof will remain over the
southern panhandle tonight into Thu morning, then drift offshore
Thu afternoon and evening. Did not make any big changes to the
forecast for the most part as the main features were being handled
well.
Did make some wind changes to the N gulf to show more outflow
through Thu night. Used the 12z NAMnest to get those winds in.
Also, manually boosted winds out of Cross Sound through Fri. Kept
the wind headlines going as is for the public zones, with HWW for
zone 18 and strong wind headlines for zones 19 and 25.
Made some tweaks to temps especially over the N into Fri. Airmass
coming in appears to be not as cold as previously thought, so
moderated temps some in the windier locations. Wind sheltered
areas were kept pretty much as is with some fairly cold overnight
lows enhanced by snow cover.
Was a bit more pessimistic with cloud cover especially over the S
tonight and Thu. The trof hanging around and upper trof moving S
may keep some lower level clouds around until the low level trof
moves offshore later Thu afternoon and evening. Also kept clouds
around longer near Skagway area tonight as some upslope clouds on
Canadian side spill into the far NE area before dissipating
further S. Drier air should eventually clear them out Thu.
.LONG TERM.../ Saturday to Wednesday / Mid range portion of
forecast periods starts under the influence of high pressure over
NW Canada and an upper level ridge over the eastern Gulf of
Alaska. The ridge yields to an approaching weather front from the
western gulf on Saturday. From the weekend on the operational
solutions are having trough agreeing on features over the gulf,
and southeast Alaska. Most of the long range edits that needed to
be done where assisted by the WPC solution.
Roughly there should be low and frontal band moving to the and
through SE Alaska early Sunday. We will be watching further
developments on low tracks and frontal strengths and positioning
with additional model runs. Into early next week the general idea
over the gulf and westward towards the eastern Aleutians is low
amplitude short waves and zonal like flow pattern, which should be
a wetter pattern so well keep the chance to likely pops with
nearly seasonable temperature ranges for southeast Alaska.
Confidence moderate.
