.SYNOPSIS...Relative dry air with Saharan dust will stay over the
local area at least through Friday. Another tropical wave is
forecast to move into the local area on Monday with a TUTT near
the region early next week as well.

.SHORT TERM...A relative dry air mass prevailed across the region
this afternoon. Some showers were observed this morning across the
eastern half of Puerto Rico. These showers were moving quickly. As
a result, little rainfall accumulation was observed with this
activity. By late in the afternoon, stronger showers with
isolated thunderstorms occured across the southwest section of
Puerto Rico. A dry air mass will continue to prevail across the
region through Friday. Saharan dust will continue to affect the
region. Hazy skies are then expected. Upper level trough will
sink southwest across Hispaniola through Saturday. This feature
will enhance the shower and thunderstorm development across Puerto
Rico during the weekend.
.LONG TERM...Sunday through Friday...a series of tropical waves
are expected to approach the local islands through the period. The
National Hurricane Center is monitoring a strong tropical wave
located several hundred miles southeast of the Cape Verde islands.
This system is way too far from the local area. Therefore, at
this time there is just too much uncertainty in the future impact
of this system across the region. Stay tuned.

.AVIATION...Brief MVFR conds are still possible at all TAF sites in
passing SHRA and isolated TSRA through 03/22z. Aft 03/22z, VFR conds
expected. Easterly winds 15 to 20 knots to continue, becoming 10 to
15 knots overnight.

.MARINE...Seas up to 8 feet, mainly across the Caribbean waters
and winds up to 20 knots are expected over the coastal waters.
