(Issued 848 PM CDT Mon Sep 26 2016) Update...Surface analysis this evening shows the location of the cold front pushing through NE AL at the moment and should clear the region very shortly. Precip along this front was scattered at best with the bulk of the rainfall being observed east of I-65 and south of Madison and Jackson Co. With a drier air mass quickly moving in, any lingering precip has ceased. Only update made this evening was to take PoPs out of the forecast a few hours earlier.
