This system overran an cold airmass at the surface and as a result, some light freezing rain mixed with sleet was reported across Union and Ouachita Parishes in North Central Louisiana. Ice amounts were near one tenth of an inch which resulted in a few slick spots across elevated bridges and overpasses.
