A long duration lake event snow storm resulted in heavy snow across parts of northwest Wisconsin. The heaviest snow fell over northeastern Douglas County and the Ashland area. Snowfall totals include 31.5 in Ashland, 22 in Benoit, 16.9 near Cornucopia, 15.3 near Odanah, and 15 in Poplar.
