A winter storm brought heavy snow to northwestern Wisconsin near Lake Superior on April 11th and 12th. Much of the northern parts of Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron counties received 8 to 13 inches of snow, and there were isolated areas that received much more.

A winter storm brought heavy snow to northwestern Wisconsin near Lake Superior on April 11th and 12th. Much of the northern parts of Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron counties received 8 to 13 inches of snow, and there were isolated areas that received much more. Snowfall reports include 18.8 inches near the city of Superior, 15 inches near Cornucopia, 12.4 inches at Madeline Island, and 10.5 inches near Upson.
