What happened

The episode as NWS OUN wrote it up.

A potent cold front surged into northern and western Oklahoma late on the 4th. A dryline intersected this front over west central Oklahoma and extended southward. The airmass ahead of this front and dryline was moderately unstable with shear favoring marginal supercell structures. Given supportive ingredients, severe thunderstorm clusters formed during the late afternoon and lasted well into the night as the front move southeast. Spotty marginally severe hail and damaging winds occurred.
